Alvaro Espinoza produces some of the most coveted wines in all of the Maipo Valley. In 1998, he converted to biodynamic farming, and almost immediately secured his place as one the Southern Hemispheres most visionary winemakers.
His Pura Fe Garnacha-Syrah, which is organically grown in the foothills of Maipo Alto, is pure and fruit-driven with fine tannins and balanced acidity.
The tanks are feed by gravity. Grapes are fermented in small stainless steel vats with spontaneous fermentation and soft pumping over and a long maceration of 25 days before pressing. After pressing the wine is aged in barrel for 10 months.
