Aultmore is a Speyside distillery built in 1896 by Alexander Edward of Craigellachie. Its eponymous Scotch whiskey was conceived of as a single malt - a rarity at the time. Its fresh aromas include orchard blossom, pear, and apple custard. Though elegant and balanced, the palate packs weight, with vanilla flower and fruit fading into soft spice.
