A blend of two high-rye whiskeys, Fort Hamilton's Double Barrel rye is an homage to the grain and the northern style of bourbon. It's comprised of a New York grain distilled whiskey (25% Rye, 70% Corn, and 5% Malted Barley) and an Indiana MGP whiskey (36% Rye, 60% Corn, and 4% Malted Barley) hand-selected by Fort Hamilton founder, Alex Clark. Distinctively spiced on the nose with notes of floral cardamom, cinnamon, and dark chocolate around dried apricot fruit. The palate is full of grain character, with characteristic rye herbaceousness and orange rind leading to a spicy finish. Phenomenal in an Old Fashioned or Sour, but made to be sipped at 46% ABV.
