La Gritona - Tequila Reposado (750ml)

Finally: a Reposado for the purists among us. Made in small batches in the highlands of Valle de Guadalupe, Jalisco, La Gritona is run by Melly Cardenas and her small staff of local women. The Reposado is distilled twice and rests for 8 months in used Jack Daniels whiskey barrels, allowing the agave to do the majority of the talking. Aromas of fresh and cooked agave, mellow pineapple, and just a touch of cinnamon, white pepper, and vanilla on the nose lead to a round, supple palate. Easy-drinking and soft, it's  great choice for a Tequila Old Fashioned, Margarita (of course), or Gimlet.
